Mobile Banking

Mobile Money provides you with fast, free access to your Bank of Ann Arbor accounts in three ways-text messaging, mobile browser or mobile app for iPhones, Android and Blackberry phones. Enroll by selecting Options, then Mobile Money while signed in to Online Banking.

Use Mobile Money it to monitor your accounts using your mobile phone. You can receive alerts, view accounts, transfer funds and even pay bills whenever you need to, wherever you happen to be.

Mobile Money is fully secure with multiple layers of authentication so you can bank with confidence. A personal password and phone activation code keep your information safe.

There are now three ways to access your account information from your phone.
  1. Text messaging. Through simple text messages you can view account balances and transaction history. You can also receive text alerts that you set up. Any phone that can send and receive text messages can use this service.

  2. If you have Internet access on your smart phone (iPhone, Android or Blackberry), you can view account balances, transaction history, transfer funds between accounts and pay bills with.

  3. Mobile phone friendly browser
  4. Bank of Ann Arbor Mobile application (app) available from App Stores for iPhone and Android smart phones.
So if you want the convenience of accessing your personal account information right from your mobile phone, sign up for Bank of Ann Arbor’s Mobile Money today. Mobile Money is available free of charge to anyone currently enrolled in our Personal Online Banking service. To enroll, log on to Personal Online Banking. Select Options, then Mobile Money.

Enrollment tips
You’ll want to have your phone with you and text messaging enabled when enrolling.

Text Messaging: You can only receive balance and simple transaction history, along with text alerts. You’ll want to set up simple, easy to remember Nicknames for the accounts you are accessing. Commands are: BAL = will provide current balances of all accounts selected to be accessed by text banking during enrollment. HIST [nickname] = will provide last 2 transactions on the account specified.

Mobile Browser: Requires Internet access on phone. You will receive a special link in a text message. When clicked, link will take you to a log in page that can be bookmarked for easy return. Enter your Personal Online Banking password and confirm the authentication image. You can transfer funds and pay bills using the mobile browser.

BOAA Mobile (a.k.a. Mobile App.): Requires Internet access and iPhone, Android or Blackberry phone. The mobile app is not currently supported for the iPad or iTouch. Upon enrolling through Personal Online Banking, you will receive a text link to download the mobile app for your phone. After download, another text link will be sent to log in and fully install application. After that, you can select BOAA Mobile app icon on you smart phone to log in. You’ll need to enter your Personal Online Banking password to log in. Or download the app directly from your phone’s app store. Search “Bank of Ann Arbor”.

Mobile Deposit

When you use our Mobile Money app, you can sign up to deposit your checks using your smart phone’s camera. With a quick photo of the front and back of a check, you can quickly deposit the funds in your Bank of Ann Arbor checking or savings account. Log in to Online Banking and select Mobile Deposit to apply.
