First Vice President, Trust and Investment Group Manager
Lyle joined Bank of Ann Arbor in June of 2010, after spending two years in private practice in the Detroit area counseling individuals and businesses in fiduciary
administration and estate planning. Previously, Lyle spent 28 years with JP Morgan Chase as a successful leader of Advisor teams in Michigan and Florida. He
received a J.D. from Detroit College of Law and is a graduate of National Trust School and National Graduate Trust School. Lyle serves the community through his
involvement in Glacier Hills and Leslie Science and Nature Center. He also participates in the activities of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council and the Financial
and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit.
Tom Kallewaard, JD
First Vice President and Trust Officer
As an attorney with over 30 years of experience in trust administration, Tom's expertise is a valuable asset to our clients. Tom believes that the customer focus
of Bank of Ann Arbor is what sets it apart from other trust providers. Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor, Tom worked as a Senior Trust Officer and Relationship
Manager at Comerica Bank. Tom also gained extensive experience in Employee Benefit Plan and Estate/Tax Administration with First of America Bank. He holds a J.D.
from Michigan State University College of Law, a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University, and has attended the National Graduate Trust School at
Northwestern University. He is a member of the State Bar Association of Michigan, and also serves on advisory committees for the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation
and the Cancer Support Community.
Sonia S. Patel, CFA
Senior Vice President & Investment Officer
Sonia has over 15 years of investment management experience. She joined Bank of Ann Arbor's Trust & Investment Management Group in 2011. Previously, Sonia
was employed with J.P. Morgan Asset Management as an investment relationship manager for mid-institutional clients and with M&I Investment Management Corp.
as an equity and fixed income analyst. Sonia has a BBA in Marketing & Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MSc in Finance from the
London School of Economics and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Cathleen Savoie, CFA
Senior Vice President & Investment Officer
Cathleen joined Bank of Ann Arbor's Trust and Investment Management Group as Senior Vice President and Investment
Officer in October, 2008. Previously, Cathy worked at KeyBank for 20 years managing investments for individuals and
non-profit entities including foundations, endowments and charitable trusts. She holds a B.A. in Finance from Michigan
State University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Steve Seymour, MBA, CFA
Senior Vice President & Senior Investment Officer
Steve has a 34 year record of success managing institutional and high net worth clients. Steve joined Bank of Ann Arbor
in May 2005 to broaden the depth of the Investment Management Group and to expand the Group’s global product offerings. He
previously worked with Manufacturers Bank, Comerica, Woodbridge Capital Management and founded both Cranbrook Capital Management
and Cedar Capital Management as the senior Investment officer. Steve is a US Army veteran, holds a BS degree with honors from
Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University on a scholarship and is a Chartered Financial Analyst
holder (CFA #7919, 1984).
Erin E. Archambault, MBA
Vice President & Trust Operations Manager
Erin has over 35 years of extensive trust and securities operations and processing experience. Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor in 2001,
Erin worked as a Vice President in Trust Operations at two large regional banks, PNC and Bank of America. Erin holds an M.B.A. in Finance
from Wayne State University as well as a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Western Michigan University. She is actively involved in
several community service organizations.
Eric P. Helber
Vice President & Director of Business Development
Eric is responsible for developing new client relationships and coordinating retirement services offered by Bank of Ann Arbor. Prior to
joining Bank of Ann Arbor in 2007, Eric was Vice President for Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company. In this position, he
was responsible for Fidelityís emerging corporate retirement business in Michigan. Eric has also held Vice President positions in other
industries including: banking (KeyCorp) and insurance (CIGNA/Prudential). For over 20 years, Eric’s career has focused on investment
consultation and retirement services. Eric is a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor and has participated in many community organizations. He
recently served as Treasurer for the Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and also served on the Board of Directors for Washtenaw
Area Council for Children. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A. in Business.
Vice President & Business Development Officer
Deb is responsible for 403(b) University Retirement and Advisory Services. Having lived and worked in Ann Arbor for more than 30
years, Deb began her financial services career at the former Huron Valley National Bank, which was located at the current Fifth
Avenue location of Bank of Ann Arbor. She has successfully assisted high net worth individuals and families preserve and grow their
wealth through financial, retirement, estate, investment advice and planning through her previous employment with First of America,
Comerica Bank and, most recently, TIAA-CREF. Deb has attained the Series 7 and 66 General Securities licenses as well as the Life,
Accident, Health and Variable Annuities insurance licenses. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and is currently
enrolled in the Certificate of Financial Planning program.
Vice President & Portfolio Manager & Business Development Officer
Jackie has a broad range of experience in the financial services industry. Jackie joined Bank of Ann Arbor's Trust and Investment
Management Group in 2007. She specializes in retirement planning, managing a portfolio of group and individual retirement plans. Prior
to joining Bank of Ann Arbor, Jackie was employed by TCF National Bank in Brighton in sales management. With previous work experience
as a Compliance Analyst and Auditor, she is well-suited to manage retirement plan relationships. She is a graduate of Gettysburg College,
the Robert M. Perry School of Banking and the New York Institute of Finance. In 2010, Jackie completed the Certificate of Financial
Planning Program at Eastern Michigan University. She volunteers as a board member to the Pinckney Schools Foundation and serves as
Chair of the United Way of Washtenaw County's Women's Leadership Initiative/Power of the Purse.
Vice President & Trust Officer
Mitzi has 16 years of experience in the trust field. Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor she worked at United Bank &
Trust in their trust department and at First of America (National City) for 9 years as a Trust Account Representative.
Mitzi holds a BBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Sarah Dobson Campbell, JD
Sarah joined Bank of Ann Arbor’s Trust Department in 2008. After successfully completing the bank’s internship program, she now focuses
on personal trust administration. Sarah holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and received her bachelor’s degree with
distinction from the University of Michigan. Growing up in Ann Arbor, Sarah has been involved with and active in local community service
organizations since high school. Currently she serves on the Power of the Purse Committee for the United Way of Washtenaw County.
Employee Benefits Administrator
Kim has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined Bank of Ann Arbor’s Investment Management Group in 2008.
Prior to joining Bank of Ann Arbor, Kim worked at ING Financial Services as an Executive Assistant and Compliance Coordinator in the
401(k)/Employee Benefits Department and at CIGNA Retirement Services. Kim currently serves as a Sub-Committee Chair on the United Way of
Washtenaw County’s Women’s Leadership Initiative/Power of the Purse committee.
